Perfect Teeth

Your smile is one of the most viewed parts of your body, so having perfect teeth is important. To do this means you need all of your teeth, you need them to be straight, and you need them to be white. To make this possible you may need to consider a number of possible treatments. To ensure you have teeth in all the right places and that these teeth are complete, you may need to consider dental implants, cost of veneers, cost of Lumineers, or even a dental bridge. If you have all your teeth, then ensuring they are straight with some orthodontic work or braces may make sense. Teeth Whitening Cost

teeth whitening costsNo one would argue that tooth whitening was not important when trying to achieve perfect teeth. But what teeth whitening cost are you willing to pay? there are many ways to get white, perfect teeth. Some are costly and require multiple visits to the dentist. Others can be done in the comfort of your own home and cost little. But do they all work equally well?

Laser Teeth Whitening

This type of procedure is carried out by a dentist. A teeth whitening gel is applied to the teeth and is then exposed to a special light that activates the chemical in such a way as to remove stains and bleach the teeth. this process may nee to be repeated a few times to reach the desired shade of white. there are many proprietary forms of this procedure such as Zoom Whitening.

Home Tooth Bleaching Remedies

A handful of foods can really, genuinely, help in the fight against tooth staining and they include things like apples, celery, pears and carrots. Things that also trigger the production of saliva, such as chewing gum can help as saliva has natural stain-fighting properties.

Home Tooth Bleaching Kits

Home tooth whitening kits contain a type of mild bleach (usually hydrogen peroxide), which supposedly attacks the stains, breaking them down and removing them from your teeth. The kits come in different forms, including everything from enhanced toothpastes to gels, moulds and strips. With some of them you simply apply the gel with a small brush, while with others you may be required to wear a mould, which sits over you teeth and must be worm for 30 minutes or so a day for a week or more. The best ones, backed by cosmetic dentists, contain a decent level of hydrogen peroxide, but most do not and so are of little use, so check the packaging, and make sure you stick strictly to the instructions to avoid damaging your teeth and gums.

Teeth Whitening Strips

Whitening strips are almost invisible pieces of plastic that are coated with whitening gel and these are stuck to your teeth for a minute or more every day for around a week. And while the results are not as good as the kits mentioned above (someof which to little at all), they are really easy to use and, if you do get positive results, they will be seen almost immediately and last for up to a year.

Teeth Whitening Toothpastes

Tooth whitening toopastes differ slightly in the fact that they may use mild abrasives as well as hydrogen peroxide. This helps loosen the stains so the peroxide can remove them from your teeth.
