choosing the right blusher for youWhilst blusher is no doubt one of the more useful cosmetic devices available to everyone these days, it’s also one of the easiest to mess up during use.  There’s a fine line from having beautiful rosy cheeks to just looking like a clown, after all!  Because of this, we here at Cosmetic Tips have come up with some hints that should help you first of all choose the right blusher for you:

There are various choices in terms of which blush is the right one for you.  Mineral blushers are quite versatile and fairly easy to apply, which makes them the ideal choice for many women.

Powder blushes are without doubt the most popular, and offer a fairly controlled form of colour that’s easy enough to apply.  The only downside of them is that they’re not a great choice for very dry skin.

Liquid and gel blushers, as you might expect, operate on the flipped side of the coin to powder varieties.  For women with very dry skin, the gels can offer an extra layer of moisture in addition to the blusher effect.  However, these can be very tricky to apply correctly, with gels drying out before the blending is complete.  Also there is the danger of the liquids not drying in time, which can lead to very bad smudging!

One of the best combinations currently available on the market, however, are combinations of both powder and cream, which will neither add additional moisture to already oily skin or dry out already drying skin.  In addition to this, they also add a really vibrant layer of colour to the skin. 

As with any cosmetic product, you should take the time to try a few products out and see what the effects are before making your choice.  Remember, everybody’s skin is different, so everybody’s choice of blusher will be different too!
