If you decide to go ahead with labiaplasty you will have a face to face consultation and examination with your plastic surgeon, who will explain what is involved and how successful your procedure could be in solving your problems.

The labiaplasty procedure itself will reduce or reshape the labia minora and that means that general anesthetic will be needed to ensure you feel no pain during the surgery. In simple terms the surgeon will cut away any excess skin and reshape your labia to ensure it fits your needs. In all it should take no more than an hour or so to complete.
